Artist Statement

Claudio Blanco is a visual artist born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, who uses photography and digital collage. With an eye for the unspoken beauty and collaborative clash of urbanity developed in his graffiti writing past, he trains a lens on weathered walls and geographies interpreting ignored casual markings left by unknown collaborators. He explores the intersection of culture, signage and language with his digital collages.
